Foreign circuses in Denmark

A number of foreign new wave circuses are frequent visitors to Denmark, most of them in corporation with Copenhagen International Theatre (KIT).

Visiting shows in 1999: German circus Gosh, french circus Cirque les Oisedux with a performance called Focus and Le Cirque Invisible.

 

Visiting shows in 2000: Le Cirque Invisible, Tiger Lilis cabaret, Romančs Cirque Tsigane and Les Arts Sauts with the trapeze performance Kayassine.

In April 2001 Swedish new wave Circus Cirkör visited Copenhagen with the performance Trix. In July/August 2001 Canadian Cirque du Soleil visited Copenhagen with the performance Quidam. It was Soleil's first visit to Scandinavia. Le Cirque Invisible will visit Denmark in November 2001.

Large Swedish circus Scott (owned by Henry and Robert Bronett) visited Copenhagen in 1999 and  repeated the visit in 2000 and 2001.
